High-Five Players out of the 2015 WC Indian Squad

Defender of the last cricket world-cup series and i.e. team India has ignored the top five senior players while charting the 2015 WC team. Most experienced players of Indian team Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Virendra Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh were excluded from the 30-member Indian probable squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
As far as experience is concern these are the most experienced players but if we have a close look to the last WC 2011 series they just can be ignored.

Have a close look to their stats of 2011 WC:
1.      Zaheer Khan was the highest wicket taker with 21wkts in just 9 matches with an Eco rate of 4.83. He has experience to play on the Australian soil. He can’t be ignored when team pacers very badly.

2.      Here comes Yuvraj of the WC series (Yuvraj Singh Man of the series of 2011wc). He scored 362 runs with 1 Century & 4 Half Centuries as well as he took 15 wickets which is very good all-round performance in tournament among top 10 bowlers of the world cup 2011.

3.      On the other hand opener Gautam Gambhir with left hand scored 393 runs which was the fifth ranker of the most runs scored in the series.

4.      Virender Sehwag made 175 runs which was the best individual total in the series.

5.      Harbhajan Singh in today’s scenario s the most senior spinner bowler in the Indian took the 9wkts in 9matches of the 2011 WC series with Eco rate of 4.48.

However, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and Ravichandran Ashwin were the only survivors from the squad that lifted the World Cup in 2011
